Spring Hill in South Berwick is a classic Maine venue known for its rolling hills and expansive waterfront views. It’s a venue that offers a beautiful balance of manicured grounds and natural beauty. As a Maine wedding photographer, I’m always impressed by the ceremony site, where a beautiful arbor overlooks the water, providing a stunning backdrop for the "I Do's."
My Thoughts
What I love most about Spring Hill is the light. Because of the way the property sits on the hill, the "golden hour" here is truly spectacular. The staff is incredibly seasoned, making the day run smoothly so the couple can stay present in the moment. It’s a versatile space that works beautifully in any season, but autumn weddings here are particularly vibrant.
Favorite Photo Spot
Beyond the ceremony arbor, I love the area shaded by the four large trees. It creates such a beautiful, dappled light for family formals and wedding party shots. For the couple, walking through the rolling fields at sunset is where the real magic happens—the long shadows and warm light are a photographer's dream.
