I’ve always admired the natural beauty that surrounds us, but nothing could have prepared me for the awe-inspiring sight of the northern lights dancing above our town. On one unforgettable night, the aurora lit up the skies over familiar places like Memorial Park, the Scarborough Public Library, and the peaceful Scarborough Marsh. Seeing these landmarks illuminated by the vibrant colors of the northern lights was a surreal experience, and I’m excited to share the photos I captured.
