Rustic Refined: Celebration at This Old Barn

There is a raw, authentic texture to a fall wedding at This Old Barn in Dayton that you just can’t replicate in a traditional ballroom. Against the backdrop of weathered wood and golden fields, we leaned into a "less is more" approach, letting the vibrant Maine backdrop and the barn’s historic character provide all the decor we needed. The overcast summer sky acted as a massive softbox, giving us perfectly even light for portraits before we headed inside for a high-energy reception under the rafters. It was a day defined by warm tones, clean lines, and a couple who prioritized real connection over trendy props—proving that a rustic setting is the perfect canvas for a high-end, timeless gallery.
